Hello! My name is Max Gunn and I am an aspiring engineering student. I enjoy making things, and developing a project to completion. Regardless of the topic, I love to push myself to solve problems. I’ve dipped my toes in everything from writing music, making the perfect cup of coffee, and even manufacturing my own tools for machining.

My favorite questions always involve the words “how” and “why”. Learning the “how” and “why” behind processes (engineering or not) is one of the most interesting parts of engineering by far in my humble opinion. I like to think that these types of questions are where most of the creative aspect of any type of problem solving comes from. More often than not, the “what” of a problem is stationary, but how and why are always dynamic and flexible depending on the desired outcome.
